Abstract
Twitter is one of the most popular micro blog services in the world and provides many kinds of information in real time. Although we can construct a twitter follow network by ourselves, almost twitter users usually don't try to modify the follow network depending on each purpose. However, when we join in an event such as city festival or music festival, it will be useful if we can get information of the event in real time. In this paper, we propose Ad-hoc Following Networks on Twitter for the purpose of getting information of an event in real time, and evaluate the effectiveness of this prototype system.
