Abstract
<p>As a novel scheme for realizing a solid-state dye laser based on polymer matrix and laser dye, a disposable waveguide distributed-feedback film dye laser was proposed and studied. The wavelength coverage was 4000-1100 nm. The fabrication of a surface-relief grating and an active layer with scattering particles can improve the input-output efficiency. The latter shows the maximum efficiency of 12%.</p>
