Abstract
High-speed burst-mode optical receiver technology for next generation PON systems is mentioned. In addition, we developed a burst-mode PIN-TIA module for the OLT receiver of such high-speed PON systems. We confirmed that our developed PIN-TIA module successfully operated at 10.3 Gbit/s with instantaneous response, high-sensitivity, and wide dynamic range for burst-mode inputs.
