Abstract
As a part of academic studies in universities, needs analyses of the Japanese vocabulary for foreign students, have been tried many years. However, the results of those analyses have not produced enough practical teaching materials. In addition to the shortages of teaching materials focused on vocabulary per se, teaching materials which Chinese students can acquire the abilities to use kanji vocabulary in Japanese have not been considered seriously. On this paper, the results of researches performed in China in 2007 and the teaching materials which were made to conquer the difficulties in reading and usages of vocabulary are introduced.
