Abstract
This study examined the relationship between the product line-up and the design of 15 types of products. Product line-ups of them were rearranged from three viewpoints of "the attribute related to quality as functions and performance", "the attribute related to quantity as capacity, size and output" and "design". As a result, they could classify into 2 kinds of product lineup based on quality and product line-up based on design. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of distribution at the market, the former was classified into 5 kinds and the latter was classified into 2 kinds. As Concerns the product line-up based on quality, it is important that how design the item that forms line-up.
