Abstract

Purpose: To report a case of conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma treated with topical mitomycin C preoperatively. Case: A 95-year-old woman was referred to our hospital with a 1cm conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma on her bulbar conjunctiva She was treated with three courses of topical mitomycin C before excision. We reduced the tumor's size and surgical stress. Conclusion: In this case, preoperative mitomycin C adjunct chemotherapy showed a favorable result.
