Abstract
An extremely rare case of solitary pancreatic capsule metastasis from renal cell carcinoma occurred 9 years after nephrectomy is reported. An 89-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with melena. Nine years ago, left nephrectomy was performed because of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Colonoscopy revealed a colon cancer in the transverse colon. Abdominal computed tomography demonstrated the tumor attached to the anterior side of the pancreas. Endoscopic ultrasonography revealed an extramural tumor of the stomach. Histological examination of the tumor showed RCC. Long-term follow up is necessary for RCC patient after nephrectomy.
