N2 - We report a highly-sensitive microchip electrophoretic method for the simultaneous analysis of gabapentin (GPN) and pregabalin (PGN). Analyses and separation of both compounds were achieved in a PMMA microchip after labelling with 4-Fluoro-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD-F). The separation of the labelled compounds was improved by addition of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD). Moreover, methylcellulose polymer was added to prevent analytes' adsorption on the microchannel walls. The sensitivity of the method was improved by stacking to quantify as low as 0.06 nM of each drug with detection limits of 12 pM.
