A mean-field lattice model for the diffusion-controlled aggregation

    Abstract

    A coupled map lattice model is proposed as a mean-field type model for the diffusion-limited aggregation. The fractal dimension is estimated numerically for several dimensions, which is consistent with the formula D = (d2 + 1)/(d + 1).
