We grew pure ErBa2Cu3O7-δ (ErBCO) films and ErBCO films with BaSnO3 (BSO) doping as artificial pinning centers (APCs) by pulse laser deposition on SrTiO3 substrates, and the effects of oxygen pressure on crystallinity, critical temperature (TC) and microstructure of ErBCO films were investigated. In a previous study, we grew ErBCO films with BaNb2O6 (BNO) by controlling the growth temperature under a constant oxygen pressure of 400mTorr and confirmed the effect of BNO as APCs. We observed the tendency which diameter of nanorods became small and pinning force was strong at lower growth temperature. However, crystallinity and TC of ErBCO films degraded at low growth temperature. So, it is very important to improve crystallinity and TC by a novel method. In this study, we focused on oxygen pressure, and aimed at improvement of crystallinity and TC by controlling oxygen pressure.
