Abstract

We use many modalities of medical equipment in the department of radiology, but medical accidents, unexpected incidents, and near miss of medical accidents may be caused by inevitability and medical malpractice. We must prevent medical accidents during clinical examination. So, we investigate and analyze various risk cases in the department of radiology, and we study risk management for prevention of patient's injury. In this paper, we discuss risk cases due to computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and ultrasonograpy.
