Advanced algebraic model for turbulent diffusion vector in two-equation turbulence models

Abstract

Advanced algebraic model was used to analyze turbulent diffusion vector in two-equation turbulence models. Large eddy simulation (LES) data of fundamental channel flow was processed to analyze the prediction performance for the turbulent diffusion term. Analysis suggested that the proposed model accurately predicts turbulent diffusion term in both wall-normal direction and streamwise direction.
