N2 - Many bridges were seriously damaged by the Higashi Nihon Earthquake Disaster on March 11, 2011. Especially, bridge restrainer systems on the concrete pier were failed due to the anchorage zone's fracture. In general, dynamic failure of concrete is quite different from static failure thus we have to consider of it and evaluate the possibility of brittle failure. In this paper, we conducted impact failure patterns such as corn failure and bond failure of anchor bolt embedded in concrete using the bond failure criteria and the strain rate effect of concrete. Consequently, proposed method could simulate dynamic failure of anchor bolt in the bridge restrainer system.
