Abstract
Equal channel angular pressing was used to investigate the deformation in aluminum single crystals. In this process the samples are subjected to intense plastic strains by pressing through two channels intersecting at an abrupt angle within a die. The deformed structures were examined using optical microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
