Analysis of two-dimensional coupled cavity waveguides on a magnetized ferrite

Abstract

An exact approach to analysis of two-dimensional coupled cavity waveguides on a magnetized ferrite has been proposed. This method is based on lattice sums' matrices and a T-matrix of an isolated cylinder. The new formula has restrained the computed error caused by β-matrix than previous formula. Numerical examples show that the convergence is very fast and that the computing precision is very high. The dispersion properties of the TM modes in regular triangle lattice and in square lattice have been discussed.
