Abstract

Reaction of (1-naphthyl)phenylsilane with symmetric aliphatic ketones catalysed by (R)-Cybinap-RhI gave the corresponding (R)-(alkoxy)(1-naphthyl)phenylsilane in >99% enantiomeric excess.
