Abstract

The dinuclear Ni(II) complex [TPANi(II)(μ-OH)2Ni(II)TPA](CiO4)2 (TPA = tris(pyridylmethyl)amine) (2) can react with atmospheric CO2 readily, and forms corresponding μ-carbonate complex, [TPANi(II)(μ-CO3)Ni(II)TPA](ClO4)2 (3).
