N2 - We report here on basal cell carcinomas in two white men. Case 1: A 29-year-old white man from Australia visited our hospital with an erythema on the right clavicle and a reddish papule on the left back that had appeared 3 month previously. Dermoscopically, the lesion on the left back showed arborizing vessels that looked like telangiectasia. The histopathological diagnosis of both lesions was basal cell carcinoma. Case 2: A 66-year-old white man with a history of multiple actinic keratoses for 20 years had noticed a red, ulcerated plaque on the lateral right brow. A dermoscopic investigation also revealed arborizing vessels that looked like telangiectasia. After surgical excision, the diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma was made histopathologically. The clinical appearance of basal cell carcinoma in Caucasians was different from that in Asians, but the dermoscopic signs of arborizing vessels are helpful for diagnosis of non-pigmented BCC.
