Basic analysis of a pulsed photoacoustic microscope

Abstract

Pulsed PZT-PA and PBD (photothermal beam deflection) signals were measured, and the differences in their generation mechanisms discussed between them using FEM (finite elements method). A pulsed photoacoustic imae for a model sample having subsurface structures was also demonstrated.
