Big bang nucleosynthesis in the Brans-Dicke cosmology with a decaying Λ term

Abstract

We investigate primordial nucleosynthesis in a Brans-Dicke model with a decaying Λ term using the Monte-Carlo method and likelihood analysis. The produced abundances of 4He and D are consistent with the observations when the baryon to photon ratio η10 = 5.47 - 6.64, which is in agreement with the value deduced from WMAP.
