Broadband electron cyclotron emission radiometry for the Large Helical Device

Abstract

The broadband electron cyclotron emission (ECE) radiometry for the large helical device (LHD) was presented. The properties of the diagnostic instrument and experimental results of the LHD ECE were also presented. It was found that the high temporal resolution of the system is suitable for investigating the fast phenomena related to the magnetohydrodynamic activities and transport transitions.
