Budding and fission dynamics of two-component vesicles

Abstract

A mesoscopic simulation method (DPD) was applied to study the budding and the fission dynamics of two-component vesicles. The dynamics of the amphiphiles of a vesicle in the budding and fission process was found. A possible new pathway of the fission process triggered by cleavage along the domain boundary was outlined.
