Abstract

A 38-year-old man with systemic lupus erythematosus had nodular cutaneous mucinosis, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, and a vesiculobullous eruption. Immunopathologic study of a bullous lesion revealed granular deposits of IgA and IgG along the basement membrane zone. Localization of immune deposits to the lamina and sublamina densa was confirmed by immunoelectron microscopy. (J Am Acad Dermatol 1994;31:387-90.)
