Abstract

Several interesting phenomena, e.g. the presence of double sample volumes, divergence of the sample volume, a second region of sample volume divergence and a muliple process of recombination and ionization, are observed in gas calibration experiments on the 0.5 MeV heavy ion beam probe (HIBP) for the JIPP T-11U tokamak.
