Abstract
Chloride ion conduction in PbCl2-PbO system, PbCl2(1-x)Ox (x = 0-0.67), was examined. Electrical conductivities were measured in air below 400°C. It was found that 3PbCl2·2PbO phase has high conductivity. From changes in current, mass and crystal phases during electrolytic polarization, chloride ion conduction was confirmed in this compound.
