N2 - A study of the clinical stastics at our department for the period 2008-2010 revealed the following results: 1) The number of outpatients was 12, 782, including 4, 031 new patients (2, 739 males and 1, 292 females). The most common diseases among the new patients were urogenital malignant tumors (31.7%), benign prostatic hyperplasia (13.7%), inflammatory diseases (9.7%) and neurogenic bladder (7.4%). 2) The total number of inpatients was 2, 054 (1, 678 males and 376 females), and the majority of them comprised males aged 60∼79 years. The main disease among the inpatients was urogenital neoplasms (59.9%). 3) A total of 1, 227 cases underwent surgery, with 229 cases undergoing open surgery, 315 cases undergoing laparoscopic surgery, 565 cases undergoing endourological surgery and 118 cases undergoing ESWL.
