Abstract

Colloidal nature of single-walled carbon nanotubes in electrolyte solutions was discussed. Schulze-Hardy rule was used for the experiment. Results showed that the interactions between single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) in electrolyte solution can be reduced to a simple model of solid spheres with van der Waals and electric bouble-layer interactions.
