Abstract
<p>For development of industrial heat pump systems supplying high-temperature heat source, experiments were carried out on condensation heat transfer of refrigerant HFO1234ze(E) at high pressures including near-critical pressures (reduced pressures 0.54-0.97) in a chevron-type plate heat exchanger (PHE). Based on the experimental data, characteristic of the heat transfer was clarified including the effects of pressure and mass flow rate. Additionally, existing condensation heat transfer correlations for PHEs were compared with the measured heat transfer coefficients.</p>
