Abstract

A useful model Group-Contribution method based Modified Wilson equation previously developed has been extensively adopted to calculate LLE for quaternary systems consisting of alkane methanol and aromatics (type I and type II) from pure-component properties alone. Its applicability was compared with the widely applied UNIFAC.
