Corrosion Fatigue Process of Annealed 0.50% Carbon Steel under Rotating Bending

Rotating bending fatigue tests were carried out on plain specimens of an annealed 0.50% carbon steel in 3% NaCl water. The behavior of corrosion pits and fatigue cracks was made clear by the successive surface observations using the plastic replica mehod.
