Abstract

A neutron diffraction study of alloys in the system Zr(Mn1−xMx)2 with M = V, Fe, Co, Ni, Al (x = 0.2), and their corresponding hydrides (deuterides) is presented. M to Mn substitution, as well as hydrogen location have been analyzed. The composition and the microstructure of the compounds have been analyzed by EDX and SEM.
