Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 20-Gb/s PAM4 transmitter using EO polymer dual-drive MZM with imbalanced binary driving electronics, eliminating the need of power-hungry DAC or linear drivers and featuring low power consumption and potentially low cost.
