Depth change characteristics in Kanmon waterway

Abstract

Kanmon waterway, located in the western part of Japan, is one of the most important international major routes. For the purpose of clarifying the characteristics of the depth changes in Kanmon waterway, the sounding data was analyzed in detail. As results, the water depth change speed and the growth characteristic of the sand wave were visualized.
