Abstract

Understanding linguistic culture is indispensable to learn foreign language. In Japanese language learning, polite expressions are related to Japanese culture closely, we proposed to design a context-awareness ubiquitous learning environment for Japanese polite expressions learning. In this paper we will address how we designed this environment for supporting the collaborative learning according to the feature of the Japanese polite expressions, and present the implementation and evaluation of the environment.
