Abstract
The design and performance of coplanar waveguide (CPW) microwave bandpass filters (BPFs) using high Tc superconducting (HTS) films have been studied. We designed BPFs for mobile at f0=2GHz and satellite at f0=10GHz telecommunications, respectively (f0: central frequency). BPFs were designed by using the transmission-line model (equivalent circuit model). We obtained different properties from straight and meanderline BPFs. So, we arranged by considering transmission meanderline model. It is shown that the size of the filters can be greatly reduced by introducing CPW with meanderline geometry. Experiment of a prototype miniaturized CPW filter will be presented.
