Abstract

N-type single-walled carbon nanotubes fabricated by doping of organic dopant, 2-(2-methoxyphenyl)-1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole, shows remarkable air-stability for over 90 days under atmospheric environment. Formation of stable complex between cationic dopant and anionic SWCNT is considered as the key to prevent the air oxidation.
