N2 - In this paper, the mechanism of DNA separation by different array-pattern nanopillar chips and the effect of nanopillar spacing were carefully studied. We revealed that array-pattern of nanopillars and nanopillar spacing dominates the separation mode, and furthermore, the square patterned nanopillar chips could achieve a high-resolution and high-speed separation.
