Abstract

Laparoscopic surgery is rapidly becoming widespread due to its minimal invasiveness and its magnified visual field. However, the occasional occurrence of severe complications leads to a serious social problem. A urological laparoscopic technique certifying system was thus instigated and since, surgical education for the certifying system is important we herein introduce our surgical training program and discuss the state of surgical education using a comparison of the learning curve in our past cases with the recent learning curve. Furthermore we refer to the impressions of a doctor who is attempting to become a laparoscopic technique certified physician within our surgical training program.
