Efficient tunable diode-pumped Yb:YAG ceramic laser

Abstract

We developed the diode-pumped 6.8-W cw Yb:YAG ceramic laser with the slope efficiency of 82% at 20°C and demonstrated the tunable oscillation of the laser. The tunable range was from 1021.0 to 1083.6 nm.
