Electron Cyclotron Emission Diagnostics for Helical Plasma in Large Helical Device

Abstract

The electron cyclotron emission (ECE) diagnostics for helical plasma in large helical device (LHD) were discussed. It was found that the ECE spectrum was measured by the fast scanning Michelson interferometer, the heterodyne radiometer and the grating polychromator. The analysis showed that the ECE temperature measurement agreed well with the Thomson scattering measurement in the wide range of electron density.
