Erratum to: “Increased IL-17A/IL-17F expression ratio represents the key mucosal T helper/regulatory cell-related gene signature paralleling disease activity in ulcerative colitis” (J Gastroenterol, 10.1007/s00535-016-1221-1)

The authors regret that the published version of the above article contained errors. In the Abstract, in the “Results” subsection the sentence beginning “Multiple regression analysis” contains errors in statistical values. “predictive of REI (P<0.0002, R² = 0.380), with major individual contributions by IL- 17A (P<0.0001) and IL-17F (P<0.0001)” should read “predictive of REI (P = 0.0002, R² = 0.38), with major individual contributions by IL-17A (P = 0.0004) and IL- 17F (P = 0.0001)”. In the Methods, in the “Extraction of RNA and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR)” subsection, beginning on line 6, “cDNA was synthesized from 2-μg aliquots of RNA” should read “cDNA was synthesized from 2-lg aliquots of RNA”. Additionally, beginning on line 19, “The cDNA equivalent of 20 lg RNA” should read “The cDNA equivalent of 20 ng RNA”. In the Results, in the “Partial correlation between gene expression of 19 targets and REI in inflamed mucosae of UC” subsection, beginning on line 18, “IL-17F showed a negative correlation (r = -0.4827, P = 0.0019)” should read “IL-17F showed a negative correlation (r = -0.5010, P = 0.0019)”.
