Abstract

Two methods for estimating directional spectra in incident and reflected wave fields are proposed. These methods are developed by modifying or extending the BDM, a method based on the Bayesian model. One method can be applied to the case where the reflection coefficient is known, and the other method can be used if it is unknown. Each method is examined for numerical simulation data and the validity of the methods is discussed.
