Experimental research plan of nonlinearity of tokamak edge turbulence in plasma turbulence observatory

Abstract

A set of experimental works based on nonlinear data analysis in the JFT-2M is planned in order to verify nonlinearity of edge turbulence in PLAsma Turbulence Observatory (PLATO) tokamak. In this paper, we introduce the preceding experimental works of the JFT-2M tokamak, and show how the revisited works are applied to progress of turbulence research in the new tokamak.
