    Abstract

The time profile of the conductivity signal of pyrene in non-polar hydrocarbon solvents consists of a fast signal (first few milliseconds) and a slow signal (after some milliseconds). The fast signal is correlated with the electron mobility and is assigned to the displacement current and the electron drift.
