    Abstract

    A field trial of GMPLS triple plane integration for dynamic wavelength path switching has been successfully demonstrated. In the trial, GMPLS control plane, measurement plane and data plane were co-ordinated to ensure the quality of a 40 Gbit/s wavelength path that is degraded by the influence of chromatic dispersion in all-optical rerouting.
