Abstract
High field ESR measurements of novel spin chain substance Bi 4Cu3V2O14 have been performed in the frequency region from 105 to 540 GHz using the pulsed magnetic field up to 35 T. Broad absorption lines appear below 6 K, and the observed resonances at 1.9 K are attributed to antiferromangetic resonances (AFMR). The g-values are estimated to be 1.40 and 1.43 from the AFMR results, and the origin of these anomalous g-values will be discussed.
