High resolution magnetocardiography for the study of dynamics propagation of exciting sites in rats cardiac muscles

Abstract

A 12 channel high resolution DC-SQUID magnetometer is described. This magnetometer is useful for the investigation of the dynamics of the magnetocardiogram (MCG) in small animals. The magnetometer is demonstrated by using it to estimate the source of the electrical activity of the heart.
