Abstract

SrTiO3-based perovskite-type oxides are used in various fields because these oxides have high chemical stability and many functions. In this study, a trial was made to find the best conditions for the preparations of the single phase SrTiO3. Two kinds of powder mixtures, SrCO 3/TiO2(anatase) and SrCO3/TiO 2(rutile), were prepared and the reaction behavior, the formation energy to SrTiO3, the reaction rate constant and the activation energy were compared to elucidate the mechanism and the condition for single phase formation.
