HPLC analysis of PS-b-P2VP block copolymers

Abstract

We report on the separation condition of polystyrene-b-poly(2- vinylpyridine) having various compositions using an amine-bonded silica gel column and a mixture of THF/CH3CN with LiCl salt as stationary phase and mobile phase, respectively. It is confirmed that block copolymers can be separated in terms of chemical composition by temperature gradient interaction chromatography (TGIC).
