Abstract

We outline the concept of a proposed experiment (P75) at J-PARC, whose aim is to investigate the double-Λ hypernucleus HΛΛ5 by using the 7Li(K-, K+) reactions. In particular, the production of HΛΛ5 via the decay of Ξ7-H and decay pion spectroscopy of HΛΛ5 after removing a background from the single-Λ hypernucleus HΛ4 are highlighted.
